The mind is free to wander wild
without a care, unlike a child
unlike a bird, unlike a plane
unlike the wind, unlike the rain
unlike a fly, unlike a god
and unlike Venus, Earth, and Mars
and unlike time, and unlike trains
and unlike fire burns in vain...

Oh, this is such fun and so beautiful
Runnin’ around in the sun until nightfall
as the sky falls down.
And lookin’ all the way down into the wishing well,
I may have fallen in, if not for a friend…
There are flowers singin’ to a rainbow
I’m not sure it can really hear,
though on they go
Oh, what a sight to behold…
As the day calms down, the songbirds
take a drink from the fountain of youth
so they will fly forever on, and on,
and on, and on, and on.
'Twas the kind of weather
you take for granted
you’ve gotta die, but then you’ve
got to come back first
Then what can’t you do
but walk on water?
And when dusk came, the dawn soon followed
I thought, if they could stay there together,
then would the sun and the moon merge into
heaven
We’ll be ok, yeah
we’ll be ok, yeah
we’ll be ok

The world is a very difficult place to understand
And daunting though it is, we must have some plan
For intention is greater than any success
And the mind's eye knows more than it could ever address
But whichever way you speak or sing
You must remember this one thing
That when the spring sets or the trees go bare
You must never fear your own nightmare
For nightmares brood and nightmares steal
Yet upon a deeper look may heal
The secret lies in how you see it
For the goal is simply not to be it
Sing with me these final rhymes
That nothing disappears in time
But rather hides behind mind’s door,
waiting for the key to explore
So you may dance with joy or dine
when you think it’s over, but you may find
that all along it lived and waited
But let it never leave you fated.
Whichever way you speak or sing
You must remember just one thing
That when the spring sets or the trees go bare
You must never fear your own nightmare.
